Systems Biology
This symposium addresses all aspects of the multidisciplinary systems biology research field. Topics to be dealt with include biothermodynamics, bioinformatics, metabolic and control engineering as well as microfluidic of any device design for the non-invasive monitoring of cell behaviour. Applications include the production of therapeutics such as biomolecules, drugs, genes, cells or tissue, and works on metabolic diseases.
Scope
This topical conference is dedicated to works dealing with the improvement of our understanding of cell behaviour and our capacity to mathematically describe, predict and control cell behaviour in diverse environments.
The proposed topics are :
Biothermodynamics
Bioinformatics
Metabolic and control engineering
Scale-down and monitoring
Publication
This symposium will be included in the WCCE8 Proceedings.
